This is a flip chart for ActivInspire, to help introduce some homophones (to, too, two, week, weak, our, hour, stair, stare, flour, flower, write, right, new, knew, their, there, they're, weather, whether). This tells the homophone, its meaning and is used in a sentence.
I had the students write them down in a Homophones booklet so that they would have it as a reference to refer back to. The booklet layout came from TeachersPayTeachers - Jessica Lang - Homophones class book. I just used the cover and last page so that the students were filling it out themselves.
These homophones were picked from the spelling list in the Reading Street Grade 3 Phonics and Spelling Practice Book by Scott Freeman. The words go along with Unit 5 Week 2 - My Family in America.
