PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This fun activity can be done at the end of a homophones lesson. I give each student a pair of homophones (ate/eight). Then, they have to write each word on each pear and draw an illustration.

You can print the pair of pears on light green card stock paper. Once they cut them out, tape them together and post them on the bulletin board. I arrange mine so that they look like a tree. I simply make a tree trunk using brown construction paper and the pears become the leaves.

I have included the sign that I use to label the bulletin board.
