This product is great for introducing or reinforcing the learning of common homophones in your classroom. These worksheets include a total of 20 different homophones on five differentiated sets of worksheets. Each set introduces 8 common homophones with picture cues. These differentiated worksheets are perfect for the word work station center, mini lesson practice, small group, whole group instruction, and allows you to meet the needs of all your students.

Each set of worksheets follow a consistent format with varying degrees of difficulty for you to choose and use in your classroom. You may wish to reinforce dictionary skills by having students utilize a dictionary for spelling/definitions and completing the more difficult worksheets.

Worksheets for each set include a page with 8 different homophones in which:

-Students read and trace the homophone words on the dashed line and write the letters in the correct shape boxes.

-Students read and trace the first homophone. Fill in the missing beginning letter, trace the consonant(s), and add the missing ending letter to complete the second homophone. Write the letters for each homophone in the correct letter shape boxes.

-Students read and trace the first word in each set of homophones. Say the picture cue and write the homophone on the second line independently. Write the letters for each homophone in the correct letter shape boxed.

-Students read the sentence, circle the correct homophone, and write the word on the line to complete the sentence.
