It's easy to confuse homophones, homographs and homonyms!
These "Lift the Flap" booklets provide concise definitions of each term, along with common examples. Students simply read the word (or word pair) on a flap, then lift to reveal its correct usage in a sentence.
Two inserts are provided: one with the correct answer key, another for students to fill in on their own. This gives you the option to use the booklet as either a reference/study guide or as an assessment tool.
The 3 "Lift the Flap" booklets are easy to assemble - all you need is glue and scissors. Although they work well with regular printer paper, try using card stock or laminating them for greater durability. They make a handy reference tool that you can use year after year!
