I have created a visual to help my students learn spelling words with the homophone pattern.
It goes along with the Scott Foresman Grade 3 Reading Streets curriculum. It is Unit 5 Week 2 - How My Family Lives In America.
Each spelling word is given a definition (from Webster's Dictionary), it is used in a sentence or two, and is accompanied by a picture.
Homophones included are: to, too, two, week, weak, our, hour, stair, stare, flour, flower, write, right, new, knew, their, there, they're, weather and whether.
