Description

Can you ever have enough teaching activities for the homophones: there, their, they’re? Of course not! This Common Core aligned product (Grade 4 and up) is designed to teach and review the frustrating homophones-- there, their, they’re

The PowerPoint introduces each homophone with a sample sentence, photo to illustrate, and definition. Students are required to make note cards for each homophone to use as references for additional activities. The slideshow also includes an interactive activity and additional partner practice. In addition, teaching tips are included as comments on the slides.

There are two PPT versions. One is illustrated with Super Hero clipart by Revidevi and is a read-only to protect the art. The other is savable with illustrations from Pixabay.com. Both contain the same grammar content and interactive animation.

Additional features:
• Teaching Tips
• Student Goals
• Common Core Standards
