With this activity, your child will “ZOOM!” around the room and “Zoom” in with their magnifying glasses to find homophones. The words that sound the same, but may be spelled differently and mean differently can be found hidden inside 8 different posters. There are 40 different homophones to be found.
Tape the pictures to various parts of your classroom or hallway and give every child or pairs of students a magnifying glass.
The student's job is to look all over the picture to find teeny tiny words that are printed somewhere on each picture. Then they need to find the matching homophone on their recording sheet and write it on the line.
They can self check this with the Answer Key if you post it for them to see when they are all done.
