If you are like me then you have a strong LOVE for task cards! I use them whenever i possibly can in my classroom. However i was getting frustrated with having to print, cut, laminate, cut again, and then find a place to store them for the kiddos to use. So I finally came up with a simpler solution in my mind. I now use plastic 5 by 7 photo books that you can buy at the dollar store or walmart.
These task cards are sized bigger than other task cards to fit into the plastic photo albums. I even make cover pages to go in the front of the albums. You can just cut a slit in the top of the front cover of the album and slide it in.
These photo album task cards make storage and usage much easier. I store them all in a storage container labeled task cards. Each album has a title page telling the students exactly what is inside. The task cards remain in the photo album at all times and the students just flip through them and answer them on the worksheet that goes with them. When they are done they just place the album back in the bin and move to the next.
