Challenge your students with this honors level project. This project can be used to differentiate instruction or increase rigor in your classroom. Get your students researching with this fun, interactive way to display research findings! In this project students will research the background of a generation, select 6 money habits of their choosing (to promote personalized learning), draw conclusions from their research, and create a product of their choosing to display their findings.
Students select their own generation and research the money habits of the generation, examples include: retirement savings, use of credit, and investment rates. They can then choose to create a poster, infographic, or brochure. Included in the file is an assignment sheet for the task and a detailed rubric for grading the project.
At our school we allow students to "opt in" to the Honors curriculum, meaning they are in the same class with CP level students, but they have additional/higher level work. This project can be purchased as a bundle with both levels of the activity to allow both sets of students to work concurrently on a similar project. Save $$$ by purchasing the Differentiated Learning in Personal Finance: Money Habits of a Generation Bundle
