Who says movies can't be used in math?!?
Use Movie Math at the end of the year, on sub days, days when your students have earned a reward, or when you just need a little break with no planning! Questions help keep students responsible and on task.
Eight Hook themed questions on Pythagorean Theorem.
- Solving for a leg.
-Solving for the hypotenuse.
- Determining if 3 sides would make a right triangle.
-Some answers are perfect squares and some will need a calculator to round to the tenths place.
-Some diagrams have the numbers already placed correctly, and others the student will need to label the right triangle first.
*Students do not need to watch the movie in order to answer the questions.
**Always preview movies before showing in class.
