Two things I'm always striving to improve on are parent communication & positive feedback. These little notes help make those two things a more common occurrence in my classroom!
I keep a pile of these little notes (printed on cardstock) in my desk. Whenever a student does something kind, reaches a goal, or just has an overall awesome day, I grab one, fill it out in seconds (with my beloved Flair Pens of course!), and pop it into their communication folders to go home.
Sometimes I tell them they have a note, other times I let them be just as pleasantly surprised as their families when they get home!
1. After downloading & opening the product in PowerPoint, simply click and edit the "Your Name" text on the green ribbon (choosing your own font/text sizing) --OR-- you can just delete the text box altogether and hand write your name each time!
2. When you're done editing, save the new file as a PDF or JPEG (I prefer JPEG only because I find PDFs tend to dull the colour)
3. Print, cut, and keep an eye out for awesome kiddies!!!
