Product Description
This product is a ready to print and use set of comprehension questions and answer key. There are 2 to 4 questions per chapter for the book. The questions for this story include literal and easy to find responses in the text to promote skills in young readers like returning to the text to find answers. There are also inferential questions that require students to think and reflect. They encourage student to think about the author’s message. Students respond to the questions in complete sentences.

These questions can be used for literacy groups, silent reading, or guided reading groups. I have enjoyed using many of the Horrible Harry books and these comprehension questions in my after school reading classes for third graders. The document includes an answer key with the responses highlighted in yellow, the student version, and two extension activities.
