This worksheet was designed for an AP Biology class and describes two genes found in horses, the gait-keeper gene which controls whether a horse will trot or pace, and the flaxen gene which controls mane color. Students are asked to do crosses involving both traits; example TTFf x ttff. Students in AP biology are taught to use the mathematical method to solve these types of problems and not Punnet squares.
