Unit 3: Marketing the Tour is part three of a four-part semester project created to meet NASAFACS standards for the Hospitality and Tourism program. Unit three allows students to understand the various marketing tools necessary to promote a travel tour in the tourism industry. The unit includes a lesson on the benefits of tour travel, Activity Sheet for students to price attractions, Travel Agent Fact Sheet to budget for air, lodging, and meals, and an Advertising Flyer to promote their tour. Samples and rubrics are provided.
