In this activity, students will be preparing document cards for their in class debate on the topic of the U.S. Constitution. The Document Based Question posed is, Should the New Constitution be Approved. Students were given 3 in class work days, to read through a DBQ packet, research additional sources and work with their team on the debate. Students are not given their "side" assignment until the debate day.
This activity should be completed after instruction on the branches of government, Constitution and Bill of Rights are understood.
