Simply print out the game and picture directions back-to-back, give them dice, and watch them have fun creating their own hot air balloon.
You will create a hot air balloon by rolling the die and collecting the different parts required to put it together. Trace and cut out two balloons and baskets. Roll the die to select a pattern to draw across one side of one balloon. Fold the other balloon vertically down the center to create four sections. Roll the die four more times, drawing each selected pattern on one segment of the folded balloon. Using washable markers, outline everything. Be sure to outline large areas where they meet parts of the design. Dip a small brush in water and carefully smudge it in the marker lines to paint in the shapes. If you need to neatly add more “paint” to larger areas, smudge some marker on a scrap piece of paper and use that as a paint palette. Allow each side to dry slightly before moving on to the next section. Hot glue or tacky glue folded balloon segment to center of first balloon so it sticks out. Cut 2 pieces of yarn approximately 2” long. Glue yarn and baskets together and then attached to backside of balloon.
