This math game is perfect for centers, partner work, individual work, RTI, or small group instruction. It will help students practice concepts of number recognition (both numerals and in words), counting and one-to-one correspondence.
Directions: 1-4 Players. Print and cut out the cards. Shuffle the cards and place them face down in rows. Players take turns choosing two cards to flip over. Players count the number of marshmallows in the hot chocolate cup on one card to see if it matches the number written on the second card. If there is a match, the player keeps the cards. If not, they flip the cards back over and it is another player's turn. The player with the most matches at the end of the game, wins.
