Hot Seating: Slavery in the United States
Hot Seating is a great way to engage your students into digging deeper into historical figures and time periods from the past. In this Hot Seating resource, the focus is on slavery in the United States. Students will become historical figures from this time period. They will have to conduct research, and become knowledgeable about the person they will become in the "hot seat." Classmates will ask them questions and they must remain in character the whole time! There are many ways to incorporate this into your classroom. Those ideas are included!
