This set contains 8 House Scenes designed to be used in Teletherapy or on a computer/iPad. There are whole house scenes, as well as individual room scenes.
The scenes can be used to target a variety of goal areas, such as:
Ask the student to find various objects and tell where they are.
“The vase is on the table.”
For teletherapy platforms with the ability to add stamps/pictures, tell the student where to put an object.
“Put a girl next to the house.”
For teletherapy platforms with the capability to add stamps/pictures, add people to the scenes and describe what the people are doing.
“She is washing dishes.”
The last 6 pages of this resource are scenes of individual rooms with 5 wh-questions for each scene. Or make up your own questions!
Use the scenes to create a scenario where 2 or more people are having a conversation.
Use the scenes to elicit conversation and ask questions to others about their homes.
★Following Directions (with embedded concepts if applicable)★
Use annotation or teletherapy platform tools to give the student a direction of the appropriate difficulty.
“Put the boy in the basement and the girl in the bathtub.”
Have the student describe the picture (or their own home) using details and appropriate vocabulary.
The possibilities are endless!
