Product Description
The House/ La Casa theme Unit is a great way to learn house room names and household items in Spanish!

The 173 page download is full of learning! The following is what is included by page number.

8-9: House Rooms Graphing: The children will roll the die (included) and record the results on the graph. This game is different every time you play!

la cocina
el jardín
el baño
la recámara/la habitación/el cuarto/el dormitorio
el comedor
el cuarto de lavado
la sala
el cuarto de juegos

22-27: House Rooms Bingo: Includes calling cards and playing cards. I suggest printing out these cards on heavier card stock. For extra durability you can laminate them.

28-30: Where’s Max? Cut out the cards and the dog. Place the cards on the table and hide the dog under one of the cards. Have your students guess which card the dog is hidden under. This is a great activity for helping your students identify rooms in the house.

31-32: Mi casa tiene…Mi casa no tiene.. Pocket chart activity: The kids will sort house rooms according to their own house.

33-38: House Rooms Puzzle- Copy on cardstock and laminate it so it can be used over and over again! Cut out each piece individually and mix them up for students to match.

39-41: “Mi casa tiene:”  Mini-Book: This book is a fun way to teach house rooms. Simply copy the original, cut it out and staple it together. Your students will be learning how to identify rooms and even read as they take the booklet home to share with their family.

42-48: Household Items Puzzles for each room of the house- Copy these on cardstock and laminate them so they can be used over and over again! Cut out each piece individually. Attach adhesive magnet or velcro to the back of each puzzle piece to keep the puzzle pieces in place. Mix them up for students to match.
