“House Bingo” targets vocabulary acquisition in a playful way and can be used with early elementary students in speech therapy, ESL, RTI, and learning centers. It supports the following Common Core State Standards:
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.K.5c Identify real-life connections between words and their use (e.g., note places at school that are colorful).
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.K.1b Use frequently occurring nouns and verbs.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.SL.K.4 Describe familiar people, places, things, and events and, with prompting and support, provide additional detail.
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.K.1d Understand and use question words (interrogatives) (e.g., who, what, where, when, why, how).

How to Use:
Review targeted household vocabulary with students. Students take turns answering Bingo Questions. For each question answered correctly, student puts one token on Bingo Card. The first student with 4 tokens in a row on their card wins.
