A bit of history.
The title says: (in German) Rothschildhaus Frankfurt a. M. In English we would say The house of Rothschild, Frankford on Main.
The original postcard is a print of a street photo taken in the 1920's
Unused the original is a very high grade ph on photo paperotograph
I rather like old postcards. Indeed I have been known to use them as a reason to learn cursive.
A nice addition to any lesson about Germany or Jewish history prior to WW II or for use in a literacy centre.
I am listing other postcards as well as some free ones from World War II. Please check them out.
This is a very high resolution scan (600 dpi) of both back and front.
The file you will get is very much larger than the thumbnail photos.
Yes there is a story here. Life between the wars?
Feed back would be really nice!!!!
