Product Description
Household Vocabulary Bundle

This bundle contains two different products that target household vocabulary.
Household Vocabulary Interactive Books
Household Item Sorting

The Household Vocabulary Interactive books are a great way to help your students increase vocabulary and sentence expansion skills. The visual aspect of interactive books is great for readers or non-readers. They are also great for students with developmental disabilities, especially Autism Spectrum Disorders.

This packet contains everything you need to create 5 different household vocabulary interactive books. Household vocabulary books include Kitchen, Bathroom, Bedroom, Living Room, and Yard. These books can be printed, laminated, and used interactively with Velcro.

In addition to the color books, there is also no prep black and white books for each household category. These are great for students to color and take home to reinforce the household vocabulary.

The household item sorting activity was created to target categorization skills both receptively and expressively. There are 8 different category mats and 48 different item cards.

Students place item cards on the correct mat. After the items are placed, you can focus on expressive language skills by having the student state the household area the item belongs. For example, the student would say "You find a couch in the living room."

There is a visual sentence mat to assist students who need visual supports to create sentences.

This is a great activity for Pre-K through First Grade students, as well as students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Cognitive Impairments who are working on categorization.
