Congress remains one of the least trusted institutions in the United States - some surveys even rank its members behind used car salesmen in terms of reliability.

This worksheet aims to help students make up their own mind about Congress. Comprised of two parts - a "match 'em" identification/definition section and three short answer questions, it will improve their understanding of the qualifications, term lengths, privileges and responsibilities facing the United States' federal representatives. Also included is a question to help students better recognize their own federal representatives.

Perfect for use as an in-class reading comprehension activity, homework assignment or vocabulary review sheet!
