How are fossil fuels formed? Many students are under the misunderstanding that fossil fuels come from dinosaurs. This is not exactly true. This lesson will clarify misconceptions and ignite your readers' curiosities.

Visit a prehistoric swamp and discover where fossil fuels originated. This comic takes readers through the process of explaining where coal, oil, and natural gas come from. Examine clear visuals of how sediments pile up on the remains of ancient plants and microorganisms. Over time, heat and pressure build, and those remains transform into fossil fuels.  This comic delivers the content in an easy-to-grasp manner, making it fun and engaging for all levels of learners. Engage your learners in reading science!
