Find out how your students are really feeling when they first walk through the door! Students identify with a picture of an emoticon that reflects their feelings at that time. Students move a clip or a marker to that area, and the teacher can easily gain insight into his/her students at a glance.
I've seen this work when a student gets frustrated, moves the clip to the angry category, and watch another student go to help out. It has been an amazing part of my classroom culture, and my kids would hate to lose it.
There are 7 pages of 6 emoticons each. 42 in all. There are 2 full page title choices for the display. Also included are 12 block and 12 circle name plates if you opt to display it this way.
I've included pictures of how I did it in my classroom. I did post these images on blue paper and used zebra print bulletin board border for kids to clip a clothespin to.
I can customize the zebra print border very easily for you. I plan to do a couple of basic colors in the near future, but leave a question on the product to let me know how you would like it customized.
