An 8 page measurement packet that asks students to make an inference about the actual size of a Bigfoot's footprint. Students must create this footprint using brown bulletin board/butcher paper and then measure it and compare it to the actual size of the famous Patterson-Gimlin plaster cast (I included a link to purchase the plaster cast for $38). It is not required to do this packet, but the kids are amazed by it! :) There is a class data chart and several pages of questions to answer, including a sheet that asks students to figure out the height of their bigfoot based on the foot size.
There is also a sheet of Bigfoot Projects for additional writing and research!
This one is always a huge hit in my classroom and the paper tracks look great displayed in the hallway!
