Explanation of Pack
Roll a Spelling Word- You will need a dice for this activity. Students will roll to find out what spelling word to write. They keep going until all squares are filled.
Color Me By High Frequency Word- This is a coloring activity to practice the high frequency words and spelling words of the week.
Vocab Flip-Flap- Print these pages back to back. Students fold these pages “hot dog” ways. They fill out the flip flap accordingly. If they are struggling with the definition portion, they can look it up in the glossary at the back of their book.
Sum It Up Page- Student’s summarize the story “How
Chipmunk Got His Stripes”.
Vicki + Victor Verb Present Only- Students fill out sheet with present tense verbs.
Beary Synonym Craft- This is an adorable craft that pairs nicely with the story and practices synonyms.
Spelling + High Frequency Practice- This is helping practice spelling words and high frequency words. They practice tracing, writing, and rainbow writing the words.
Punctuation Flip-Flap- Print sheets back to back. Students fold sheets “hot dog” ways, and fill it out accordingly.
How Chipmunk Got His Stripes Tri-Fold- Print these sheets front to back. Students fold it like a brochure. Fill it out about the week’s selection.
