How Did It GO? BUNDLE Self Assessment of Speech Fluency & Articulation**

Are you an SLP looking for some quick, easy, and effective ways for fluency students to reflect on their speech & for you to track their progress?

This set of low-prep activities, provided in both color and black/white options has you covered! It includes the following:

1. How Did it Go? Student Self-Assessment of Speech Fluency: a simple form for students to assess and reflect on their own speech fluency. Students can mark how they were feeling (e.g. Calm, Nervous, Worried, Scared, or somewhere in between). They can also mark how many “bumps” or stuttering moments they feel they had. Finally, students can circle which fluency strategies they feel they used during their session (e.g. Slow Rate, Cancelation, Stops, Sliding In/Easy Onsets, Smooth Stretchy Speech, Light Contacts, Pausing/Chunking, or Other).

Two versions of this form are provided. Form A is for preschool-lower elementary level students. Form B is for upper-elementary-middle school level students.

Designed as half-sheets, these forms allow for use of less paper and fewer trips to the copy machine. Another option is to fill out both the left and right sheets with the student each time. Then send one home for them to review with their family and keep one for your records.

2. My Fluency Progress Chart : students can use this chart to record their % fluency following a targeted speaking opportunity. They can fill in the date at the bottom and shade the appropriate number of boxes above that correspond to their % fluency.

Two versions of this chart are provided. Form A is for preschool-lower elementary level students. Form B is for upper-elementary-middle school level students.

3. My Speech Tools: use the toolbox visuals to discuss various fluency strategies and to have students identify which speech fluency tools they used during an activity.
