This activity targets sequencing skills along with describing. Students will pick a snowman, and they will describe the steps to make the snowman. Two levels of cue cards are provided for the four snowman choices. One cue card provides cohesive ties such as first, next, then, and finally. The other cue card provides a higher level of support, and the student will think of correct words to complete the sentence.
Another option would be guessing which snowman is being described. The four snowman choices are placed on the table. One student will pick a snowman to describe, and the SLP will give the appropriate cue card as needed. The other students must guess which snowman is described based the descriptive words used.
