This packet is designed to help students identify and discover the causes of their feelings!
Pg.3-5 “How Do You Feel” posters:
•These posters can be printed on 11 x17 or 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Use these as a tool to help students identify how they are feeling. These are perfect to assist with behavior management and feeling identification skills.
Pg.6-8 Feeling Cards:
•Use these when you introduce each feeling or allow students to choose the card that shows how they are currently feeling.
Pg.9-20 Graphic Organizers:
•These will allow students to brainstorm what causes them to feel angry, sad, happy etc.
Pg.21-24 Daily Feeling Journal:
•This journal will allow students to identify and process their feelings. Print the cover, insert the number of pages you would like to include, and staple. I recommend using ten pages per journal. There are three different writing prompt pages available.
Pg. 25-36 Feeling Flip Ups:
•These will allow students to practice illustrating and write a short story about each feeling.
1.Cut on the dotted line.
2.Glue the top flap onto the bottom flap.
3.Have students complete the writing prompts on the cover. They draw each feeling on the face and write a short story about something that would make someone feel that way.
