This fun game will expose children to the concept of time and fractions and allow students to start to understand how minutes can be added together to make an hour or parts of an hour and how to make equivalent fractions. Best with 2-4 players. There is a printable clock for each player and fraction pieces for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 minutes. Situation cards for two different levels or play are included.
Level 1 is for children who are beginning to tell time and provides situations where children have to fill the whole hour with the fraction pieces. (10 printable situation cards.)
Level 2 is for children who have some experience with telling time. It provides a situation with a start time for the children to set on their clocks and then either a number of minutes or the end time of the situation. Then, children need to fill that amount of the clock with the fractions pieces. (20 printable situation cards.)
