Product Description

This powerpoint gives students opportunities to practice changing words into other parts of speech to vary and improve writing style. This activity benefits students in many ways. They will see firsthand why it is necessary to learn parts of speech, they will begin to identify a word's part of speech by its suffix, they will learn new vocabulary, and they will learn that just by changing a word's form they can easily improve a sentence. Since many of the sentences in the powerpoint are Odyssey themed, it goes particularly well with a unit on Mythology or Odyssey specifically.
