Here is a fun way to practice counting and number writing. Students will count the arrows on each page and write the number on the line. There are two versions of this counting book. The second version is a bit more challenging because students have to circle if the number is even or odd. Pages go from one arrow to ten arrows. Mix up the sequence of the pages before you run them through the copy machine. Two books per page. Students can color the pairs or circle pairs to help them determine the even or odd answer.
Skills: counting one-one to 10, number writing, and even and odd, reading left to right.
