** This is a great Fall math activity using non-standard units of measurement. This is our I Can statement: “I Can use non-standard units of measurement to find out how tall I am.”
** Super easy to make! Just print, attach to a colored background (if desired) and laminate. Then attach to a wall and let the measuring, counting, comparing and contrasting begin! I'm always a little amazed by the amount of math talk we can fit into such a simple activity!
** After measuring ourselves, each kinder wrote a sentence to share about what they learned. "Thomas is 24 leaves tall." We posted the sentences next to our graph and we placed it all in the hallway to share with other classes :)
