### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity is designed to help student understand special case of the absolute value function. Cases where the formulas do not apply, like when there is no solution or the solution is all real numbers.

Students need to sort the cards into 5 piles based on the number of solutions:
No Solution, All Real Numbers, Only 1 solution, All Real Number except 1 number, or 2 Solutions.

This sort has 2 levels (15 Cards in each):
** Basic: student can just look at the problem and decide (or attempt the formula and see what happens)
** Advanced: Student must rewrite the equation to isolate the absolute value before deciding.
