PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Phonological Awareness is an important skill that young students need before they can learn how to read. This pocket chart activity is a fun way to introduce syllables and syllable counting. 59 picture cards are included in this resource and each picture has 1, 2, 3 or 4 syllables. Pass out the pictures to your class and teach them how to clap as they read the word to count the number of syllables. Then place the pictures in the pocket chart.

THIS POCKET CHART ACTIVITY IS ALSO INCLUDED IN MY PHONICS BUNDLE!
