How do I use this resource?
I create products that I see for a need for in my own classroom.
For this product, I wanted my students to be exposed to another form of subitizing, with ten-frames. I like that I can challenge students to subitize teen numbers.
I hand out page 6 to all students as a quick morning work activity. I make observations of the students to see who can instantly figure out the number, and who needs to count every dot. For students who are counting every dot and getting it correct, I give them page 7 and so on. For students who are not counting accurately, I go back to page 4 and have them practice the basics. Finally, for students who have no problem with numbers under 10 I give them page 10 to practice teen numbers,

They are DIFFERENTIATED! By having a different amount on the page for the same activity and by having two different types 0-10 and 10-20!
