How Much Are Your Values Worth? Values Auction will have students thinking about their values and how they affect their choices and decisions. Use this as a stand alone lesson or as part of a values education or career education unit. To play, each student is given $1200 to bid on the values that are most important to them. Students must figure out how much each value is worth to him and her as well as bid against each other to win the bid. You may use this as a powerpoint/smartboard lesson, or simply print each slide as a poster. Discussion questions, lesson plan, money, auction worksheet and alignment with ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors are included.
