Apples, apples and more apples! This 45 minute lesson helps your students practice their estimation and graphing skills. Students estimate the weight of bags containing different numbers of apples and then weigh each bag to get an accurate measurement. The data is displayed using a bar graph. These are important skills for your students to master and a fun way to test prep. What's better than materials you can eat at the end of a lesson?
Suggestions for differentiating the graphing portion of this lesson and extension ideas are included. Please note you will need a scale and of course...apples.
