How many trees could it take to produce oxygen for one person?
Take a deep breath. Science students are in for a surprise when they find out how many trees we need to provide oxygen for our lungs. This worksheet helps them calculate how much oxygen a singe group of trees can produce in one year and how many humans are benefiting from this small group.
Worksheet is provided in both metric and imperial units, and is in Microsoft Word .doc form so that Ts can customize the discussion to fit the needs of their Ss.
