This is a fun and engaging lesson to incorporate into your classroom when teaching about seed dispersal! Students will be placed into three groups. Each group will perform all three stations. One station represents water - students will conduct an activity on how seeds move by water. Station two is on how seeds are dispersed through people and animals - students will conduct an activity on how seeds are moved by people! Station three represents seeds dispersed by wind - students will compete in the great seed race! Each station comes with their own direction board that you can place in a plastic stand or in a special spot in the classroom. Students will receive a worksheet that correlates with each station. On the worksheet is a small reading passage, and questions that go along with the reading passage and their performance in the station! This lesson can be done in 35-40 minutes! My students love this lesson!
