Have you ever rushed through your curriculum, trying to hit all of your assigned standards? Have you wondered how anyone could possibly teach them all in just 200 days? Pretty much every teacher has been there, and that's a big reason why the NGSS were intended to be taught in BUNDLED units.

Yep, that's right. You should NOT be teaching one Performance Expectation after another -- students should be working towards two to three standards in each unit, and even these units should be bundled under broader umbrellas of 5-6 Performance Expectations.

If you are in the midst of designing your NGSS-aligned curriculum -- whether you've been given no direction at all, a list of Performance Expectations to hit, or a those big broad umbrella bundles, you will want to check out the workshop - the first class in a 12-module course, NGSS Your Science Class.

This virtual training will walk you through what bundling is and how to go about doing it. You'll get a step by step action plan to design a coherent curriculum that will engage your students and help them see the connections between all that they learn in their science classes.
