An innovative program that will not only teach necessary anger-management techniques, but will hold studentsattention and motivate them to make behavior changes. From the opening lesson when the students identify their poppers until the closing session when they do an experiment that shows how they can pass through conflict rather than be stopped by it, students are involved in creative activities that make them understand how they can control their anger. Each lesson is approximately 45 minutes long. Lesson 1: Conflict is defined. Lesson 2: Calming strategies. Lesson 3: Personal power. Lesson 4: The importance of nonverbal communication. Lesson 5: messages. Lesson 6: The curriculum is reviewed. A Pre/Post Test is included.
