This is a sweet activity that can be used as a small group center at which students will follow the directions on the cards to create a simple, but adorable sushi craft.
The cards can be printed out and look great either laminated or on heavy duty card stock.
There are two sets of cards so that you can differentiate your students activities: one set is numbered and the other set uses "order words" such as "first, lastly, etc.)
Please remember to use Adobe Reader when printing these, and any other TpT materials, out instead of Preview.
A GREAT, but optional, way to introduce this activity, or any other Japanese themed activity, is to read the newly published book Take Me Out To The Yakyu by Aaron Meshon.
To complete the activity, each student will need:
1 large cottonball
1 piece of black tape
1 pair of scissors
1 piece of colored paper (preferably pink, red, orange or yellow)
