This course teaches you how to write as well as providing practice pages. It is suitable for ages 7 to adult which means you can use it for your whole teaching career, keep it as a life long reference tool, or as a refresher course.

Every letter is taught by a separate video that you download with the section. I have provided the videos for you to keep on your device rather than streaming them because I know many areas of the world do not have adequate bandwidth for successful streaming.

As well as videos showing how to make each letter, you get videos showing how to join the letters together to make words and videos showing how capitals join or don’t join to words.

Section One comes with 3 short videos with instructions on how left and right handed writers hold a writing instrument, how these writers slant the letters, and where these writers place their paper on a table.

Every lowercase letter comes with pages reinforcing the step-by-step sequence of color strokes used to make that letter, pages that offer more practice with the letter, and pages that reinforce the strokes used to join the letter to other letters.

Every capital letter comes with pages reinforcing the step-by-step sequence of color strokes used to make that capital and pages that offer more practice. Capitals that join to words have pages that reinforce the strokes used to join that capital. Capitals that do not join have pages that reinforce the correct distance the capitals are written next to the word.

Four sets of alphabet letter posters are provided that can be used for display or to project on a wall. These include both lower case and capital letters in black and lowercase and capital letters in the color sequence used for instruction.

Detailed lesson sequences outlining the order in which the movies and worksheets should be used are provided. Suggestions of the next steps for struggling writers as well as successful writers are also given.

Section fourteen provides 10 worksheets called “Can You Write This” where accomplished writers copy printed sentences into hand written sentences.

I have taught handwriting for more than 30 years to grade twos and threes using this color sequence of strokes - green for the beginning, purple (and if needed, blue) for the middle, and red for the end. If an average learner has the will to hold the pencil correctly, to make an effort, and to practice, then that learner should be able to write successfully.

Thank you. Please contact me if you find any misprints so that I can correct them before you leave feedback.

The preview video gives you examples of all of the above.
