Product Description
This is a description of the process I went through to transform my music classroom into a center-based system. Following these steps will help you to set up your own system.

This system is based around the concept of dividing your room into “zones” for different types of activities. Once you have zones defined, it becomes much less overwhelming to create new activities for each area.

I have intentionally not included specific center instructions because I believe that your centers should reflect your own teaching style and the resources you have available. Rather, this document gives you a system for creating your own centers quickly and easily based on an overall plan, rather than piece-meal individual centers.

Your center system will be creating following 4 main steps:

1) Gathering Materials
2) Creating Zones Within The Room
3) Planning
4) Creating

Each step is accompanied by many directions, tips, and examples.
