This is a poem I wrote in an ESOL class once when the facilitator asked us to describe activities that can help engage and meet ESL needs. She asked to try to capture how an ESOL student may feel.
This is good for principals and facilitators and PLC meetings when discussing how to help these students. It's a light yet powerful poem of how it is for an ESOL student and how we as teachers can facilitate the learning process. Makes for a good add on to a discussion.
