The teacher or students pick a new emotion or feeling to focus on every few days. Students can either take a picture of their face expressing the emotion, find a picture of something that expresses this emotions, or draw their own picture (on a copy of the extension page 3) that expresses this emotion to them. More boxes can be added or an extension used for larger classrooms.
This goes along with the theme of "How we Express Ourselves" and relates to mindfulness in the classroom. It can be very useful for incorporating stories, reading or writing activities into the classroom.
The current document includes: Anger, Embarrassment, Sadness, Pride, Love, Jealousy, Fear, Nervousness, Gratitude, Happiness, Loneliness, Frustration, Excitement
But feel free to add your own! It is nice and reusable for years to come if laminated!
