This is a bundle. This is a set of three math presentations showing 11-20 black counter dots arranged within ten frames. One presentation shows these dots arranged traditionally within ten frames and the other two presentations show these dots presented in a scattered formation. Each presentation follows the same pattern with the first slide asking What is my number? and next slide revealing the answer.
It is designed to provide students the opportunity to practice their counting, which aids in number sense development and overall math development.
This scripted lesson can be led whole class at the carpet area as a part of morning routines, math warmups, calendar time, or in small groups. This lesson also can be used at the first grade level too. Students can write their answer on a personal whiteboard or demonstrate their answer through motion (i.e. clapping, running in place.)
Specific standards/objectives are listed after the title slide.
Large Century Gothic and Comic Sans MS fonts are used for readability.
This is a PowerPoint presentation. The teacher will have to use arrows (or a clicker) to move the slides for flexible lesson pacing, especially wait/think time.
PLEASE NOTE: PowerPoint is a .pptx file. This means it was generated using Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation version 2016. The thumbnails do not support this format. Thus, there is a slight differentiation between fonts used and sizing between the actual product and this preview.
